Executive Committee
Article 6.2 of the By-Laws creates an Executive Committee of the Board of Directors composed of the President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, and the Immediate Past President of the Association and shall be empowered to act on all matters pertaining to the operation of the Association, in keeping with the known policies of the entire Board of Directors.


Vice President Responsibilities

Liaison for the President and Convention Chairperson

I. Convention Committee
Co-Chairs - Rex Durdel, Mary Sowers
To set up and confirm arrangements for the annual convention.  Suggest ways in which the value created by the convention as a whole can be enhanced for both exhibitors and attendees.

Exhibitor Sales/Sponsorships
Chairperson - Micki Nicholson
To gain trade show exhibitors, sponsorships, and to promote the trade show to potential exhibitors.

Convention Hospitality Area
Chairperson - Clyde Dosenberry, Cindy Bristol
Coordinate arrangements to set up the exhibit hall hospitality area .

Welcome Reception
Chairperson - Mary Sowers, Cindy Bristol
Make arrangements for the reception and plan welcome networking opportunties for exhibitors and members.

Convention Entertainment/Social Event
Chairperson - Curt White, Anne Iaquinto
To plan and arrange a social networking event at the convention for exhibitors and members.

Silent Auction
Chairperson - John Emanual, Curt White
To set up and obtain items for the annual silent auction at the convention.

Education Committee
Chairperson - Debbie Day, Greg Finzel 
Responsible to select and develop seminar topics and obtain speakers for the annual convention for members.

50/50 Raffle
Chairperson - Dallas Mesack
To obtain any licensing and coordinate raffle.

II. Associations Relations
To ensure that the benefits to our members are carried out in a professional and timely fashion.

Membership Committee
Chairperson - Dallas Mesack
Comprised of board members which makes recommendations on recruitment and retention issues and benefits for members.

Nominating Committee
Chairperson - Steve Ulrey, Scot Pirie
Prepare a ballot for; the election of the Board of Directors to be voted on at the Annual General Membership Meeting at the convention and a slate of Executive Officers to be voted on by the Board of Directors.  To notify new board members of meeting dates and times.

Marketing/Public Relations/Website
Chairperson - Scott Moloney, Susan Mesack
To insure GLIC&FFA is marketed in the most effective way possible by developing marketing and brand recognition in; marketing campaigns, print materials, and on the website.  Review the newsletter agenda set forth for the next fiscal year.

Scholarship Committee
Chairperson - Greg Finzel, Scot Pirie, Steve Ulrey
Review scholarship application criteria and select winners as set forth by the Board of Directors.

III. Budget/Finance Committee

Chairperson - Michelle Beard, Anne Iaquinto
Recommends annual committee budgets for the next fiscal year, monitor investments and make recommendations on investments, and present to the Board of Directors.
