The 40th Annual Convention was a record breaking convention! Store operators and suppliers alike braved the weather to network, search out new products, and gain valuable insights on training, marketing, and operations. The President's Award went to the two original companies that exhibited in our first show, CF Burger and Taylor Freezer. Mike Marcis was presented as Person of the Year, sponsored by The National Dipper, for his work as an outstanding ambassador and board member of the organization. We invited all of the Past Presidents to come to the Awards Dinner, and were moved to tears as they reminisced at how they started 40 years ago. Dianne Tunison from Ashby Sterling presented our founder, Ward Anderson, a framed article highlighting the organization.
